Every Thursday starting on December 7, we'll be hosting free wax clinics at our Boulder location beginning at 6:15. Learn the basics of glide waxing with an iron, kick waxing, and ski cleaning. Clinics start out with a how-to session led by a BNS staff member. If there is something specific you'd like to learn about, be sure to let us know at the beginning of the session.

Raise your glogg (old-fashioned Swedish spiced wine) for our annual Tommelfest celebration! Kick off the beginning of the winter season at our Viking-themed Nordic festival with free skate & classic cross country ski lessons from DTR Ski Instructors & CU Ski Team Coaches, keg toss, Swedish meatballs, and more–all in the spirit of the first cross-country skiers from Norway and Sweden where the sport originated.

The CB Nordic and Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Races are a fun way to get outside, get some exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format with races ranging from 5K to 15K – and a 3k kids’ race. Accumulate points for each race you complete. The skier with the most points at the end will be crowned the series champion.

3k (9:30 am kids) and 5k (10:00 am full course/adults)

On the Bench/Ruthies

The first race of seven in the Aspen Cup Nordic Series sponsored by The Ute Mountaineer. Starting at the top of Clubhouse hill, this 10 K freestyle/skate race is always a challenging season opener. 5, 3 and 1 K distances as well, mass start for all participants.

1K, 3K, 5K Freestyle Race Evening Start (Holiday Theme) at Vail Nordic Center (post-race party at Grill on the Gore). All races will be skate mass start format. 1k & 3k @ 4:30pm | 5k @ 5:00pm. Registration will take place day-of at the venue. $5 for 1k and 3k races and $10 for 5k.

Our Telemark workshops are for all levels. Please call ahead to reserve your spot at 970-754-4390 and save $20. We ask that everyone arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to check in, earlier if you need to rent gear.
