Take care of your skis & support the CB Nordic Team!

What: Ski cleaning + storage waxing for skate, classic, skimo, or alpine skis to remove dirt and protect the bases for the summer.  

When: Drop off your skis between Monday May 11 and Wednesday May 20 . Skis will be ready to pick up on Friday, May 22nd.

Where: Ski drop-off & pick up @ The Outpost, 615 2nd St. (behind the cat barn). The Outpost is open 10am-4pm M-F.

Cost: $25/pair for nordic skis, $30/pair for skimo/alpine skis

The Boneyard Boogie kicks off the 2026 Vail Trail Running Series with a 14K scamper through pinyon groves and juniper shrubs on some of Eagle's most scenic single track trails, with an elevation gain of 1,279 feet, reaching a maximum elevation of 7,718 feet. Both races will start and end at the Eagle Pool and Ice Rink, with the 14K starting at 9 a.m. and the 6K starting at 9:15 a.m.

No cars, buffed-out road, warm clothes awaiting you at the finish line, and a fabulous barbecue and raffle to finish it off! Come be among the first to enjoy the beauty and quiet of Independence Pass before it opens to cars for the season, and support the Independence Pass Foundation's stewardship work.

Coinciding with the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice trail run is arguably the most enjoyable race in the Vail Trail Running Series. Beginning and ending on the lawn in front of the Beaver Creek Chophouse, adjacent to the Centennial lift in the heart of Beaver Creek, Colorado.
