Nordic Resources

The Vail Nordic Town Series Races are put on by the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail. Skiers of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend! 

Day-of, on-site registration | $5 for 1K & 3K races, $10 for 5K and up

The Kids Nordic Ski Program offers ski instruction for beginners and more accomplished skiers ages 5-10, skiing games, winter nature activities, and ends with a Nordic Ski Festival and prizes for all.

The program will be offered starting January 9 ending February 27, 2026. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to lessons to get equipment and trail pass which are provided by Snow Mtn Ranch for the duration of the lesson. Some Covid precautions are still observed, wait times may be longer than normal and social distancing is still requested. Classic, skate and never-ever lessons are available.
Hot chocolate and bites of energy are available at the end of the lesson.

Youth Program Fundraiser! Anything goes! Find three people, form a team, and let’s have some fun. We strongly encourage people who don’t typically race to join a team.

Technique: Classic

Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series. These races are a fun way to get outside, exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format and location, with races ranging from 5 - 25km, plus a 3 - 6km short course option and a free 1 - 2km kids race.
