Nordic Resources

Event: Skate, Long Course 50km, Short Course 25km, 12.5km (not series eligible), Junior 3km.

Course: Fun, challenging courses that showcase the world class skiing and beauty of Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic! The 50km course will be 2 laps of a 25km loop. The 12.5km and 3km course will be mostly independent of the long course and will offer a great alternative for those who want a slightly less challenging day.

Start Time: 9am Long Course, 10am Short course

Frisco BrewSkis is a beer festival on skis at the Frisco Nordic Center. Costumes, teamwork, and whacky photos are all encouraged! This happy hour ski tour which will feature beer tasting tents along the trail with beer from local breweries and prizes for the best costumes.

This long-standing Durango tradition brings skiers together to celebrate winter from start to finish!

Spruce up your skate skiing uphill and downhill techniques! We’ll cover common climbing and descending skills like speed control, cornering, step turns, hill climbing without stopping, and smooth transitions as we ski the upper trails of the Frisco Nordic Center.

The final race of the Ute Cup Nordic Series. The technique for this race will be freestyle (skate or classic).
