The Nordic Center’s toughest endeavor, the Pine Needle Langlauf freestyle event offers big climbs, scenic views, thrilling descents, and excellent snow conditions. There will be live music, prizes for winners, and schwag for all! This is the final race in the 2025-2026 Southwest Nordic Race Series sponsored by Salomon.

In honor of our very own Olympian, Mike Elliott, Durango Nordic will be hosting the U14 Youth Festival. Coupled with our one and only Langlauf event on Saturday, Feb 28, this will be a great weekend to be at Durango Nordic taking part and cheering on!

Technique: Skate

Part of the Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series. These races are a fun way to get outside, exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format and location, with races ranging from 5 - 25km, plus a 3 - 6km short course option and a free 1 - 2km kids race.
