Nordic Resources

Our Thanksgiving Camp offers clinics in intimate group settings, with personalized coaching that caters to all ability levels. We often have snow at our Nordic Center in town, but if not, we host the camp on our groomed nordic trails just 10 minutes out of town (and 1500 feet higher) at the Lily Lake Trails. Our highly qualified instructors host fun, informative clinics for everyone, from kids to never-ever adults to committed racers. Join us for the Round-Robin Refresher Thursday morning, then for our half- or full-day clinics on Friday and Saturday. The Thanksgiving Camp also features Wine & Waxing, a Winter Kick-Off Party, and a Citizens’ Race on Sunday.

The CB Nordic & Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Races are a fun way to get outside, get some exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format with distances ranging from 5K to 15K in both skate and classic. Every week a kids’ race is offered as well, with 1K and 3K options. Every race you do you acquire points, and at the end of the series we’ll award the winner of the most points.

The first race of five in the Aspen Cup Nordic Series sponsored by The Ute Mountaineer. Starting at the top of Clubhouse hill, this 6.5 K freestyle/skate race is always a challenging season opener. 3 K race for juniors, mass start for all participants.

All ability levels ages 16 and up are welcome, please pre-register with your name and ability level at 970-754-4390 and save $20 off your cost. Meet at Golden Peak Nordic Desk at 8:30 AM (earlier if you need rentals).
