A fun, learn-to-ski cross country program. The emphasis is on fostering a love for the sport and enjoying winter in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Offered Fridays from 1 to 2:30pm by the Grand Nordic Ski Club.The Kids Nordic Ski Program offers ski instruction for beginners and more accomplished skiers ages 5-9, skiing games, winter nature activities, and ends with a Nordic Ski Festival. The program will be offered in January and February. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to lessons. Equipment and trail pass are provided for the duration of the lesson.
The only outdoor after-school program in winter. We offer on-snow after school programs for athletes ages 3 to 18. From competitive nordic racing to biathlon, from fort building to skimo, the Crested Butte Nordic Team has a program for everyone.
The goal of our kids, tweens, and teens programs is to provide a safe, engaging program that lures kids in, but also allows families to take time to enjoy activities together.
Little Vikings is a learn-to-cross country ski program presented by the Town of Frisco and Team Summit. The program is open to youth ages 5-12 and offers two, four-week sessions that meet afterschool at the Frisco Nordic Center.
