Let’s shift into moon mode, while spending quality time together. The Full Moon Ski is our free, all ages event series from 4-8 pm. Cruise sixteen miles of glowing Nordic ski trails under a moon-lit sky. If you’ve decided to end your winter hermitage and enjoy the company of fellow stargazers, join our one mile Group Ski at 6 pm, led by a local legend.

The party starts at the Nordic Center, with a special menu for food and drinks. Grab dinner, pulled pork sandwiches, wings, Birria grilled cheese and more. Good tunes will be playing. We’ll have discounts on ski/snowshoe rentals and trail passes. Hit that group ski lap, or get out for a silent tree tour with your crew. Roll back to the Nordic Center for a nightcap and soak up the last of the music. On March 15, we’re partnering with two of our favorite nonprofits, Backcountry Together and Women Who Splitboard, to elevate the fun. There’s no need to RSVP, just show up dressed in layers, ready for action. The moon is the best kind of teacher. It reminds us change is constant, but beauty persists.

This family favorite 7K classic event takes place on the iconic Independence Pass Road and is a fund raiser for The Independence Pass Foundation. Race number six in the seven race Ute Cup Nordic Series, sponsored by The Ute Mountaineer.

Spruce up your skate skiing uphill and downhill techniques! We’ll cover common climbing and descending skills like speed control, cornering, step turns, hill climbing without stopping, and smooth transitions as we ski the upper trails of the Frisco Nordic Center.

Participants must be intermediate to advanced skate skiers, have good balance, and be physically fit. These two-hour clinics are designed to be a “next step” for intermediate to advanced skate skiers that have attended our intermediate skate ski clinics in the past or are longtime skate skiers. 

Each clinic stands on its own but is tiered in level from least to most difficult. Please read the descriptions to determine the best fit. Participants are invited to register for one or up to all four clinics.

2 instructors per clinic (depending on enrollment), max 15 participants. At least 3 participants are required for a clinic to run.

Trail passes are included in the clinic fee for non-season pass holders and a corresponding discount is reflected in the season pass holder clinic pricing.

The Frisco Nordic Center and Team Summit are excited to announce a new, free 5km cross-country ski race series open to all ages and abilities. The series will alternate between classic and skate skiing. Racers may sign up at the Frisco Nordic Center lodge starting at 5:00pm on the day of each event, and races will commence at 5:30pm. All racers are encouraged to bring a headlamp.
