The OG of unhinged, all-out, costumed ski races is equal parts rollicking good time and legit iconic competition.
March 9: BrewSki, Frisco Nordic
This beer-fest-on-skis packs the punch of a pub crawl, the happy chaos of a group tour. So grab that unicorn onesie and pony up for BrewSki; after the tour, stick around for music and beer tastings at the after-party.
… Race Like You Mean It
Thanks to resident moose camping out in Buttermilk, the race is being rerouted this year and will run in an enduro format on the Aspen side.

Check out this new addition to the Gold Run event offerings and take to the trails by moonlight.
A snowy night on candlelit trails is pure magic—wander the Frisco peninsula on skis and snowshoes and stop at trailside bonfires for snacks and drinks.
February 23: Moon Lit Nordic Ski & Snowshoe, Snow Mountain Ranch
SMR’s setting is home to panoramic Continental Divide views; glide through willows and pines as the moon rises over the peaks.

December 27: Town Race Series, Vail Nordic Center
Escape the Christmas crowds by day and drop in for breezy 1K, 3K, and 5K freestyle evening races—with a holiday theme. Gather at Grill on the Gore for a post-race party.

Build on your Nordic foundation by giving tele skis a go—workshops are for all levels.
