The Hidden Gem of the Rockies

The Grand Lake Nordic Center, the Hidden Gem of the Rockies, offers over 35 km of groomed and tracked trails for Classic and Skate Skiing. Trails range from beginner to advanced, and meander through lodgepole pine forest, wetlands, and along the Colorado River. Views of the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapaho National Forest provide beautiful scenery and a feeling of peace and solitude.

Lessons

Lessons covering all skill levels are available for people of all ages and experience. We offer hour-long lessons for both classic and skate skiing. Lessons can be private, with one-on-one attention for a single person, or group lessons for 2 or more people. Please call the Nordic Center in advance to reserve a day and time: 970-627-8008.

Rentals

Adult Daily Ski Rentals

Full Day: $20 // Half Day: $15

Youth Daily Ski Rentals

Full Day: $10

Seasonal Ski Rentals

Adult: $200 // Youth: $50

Full day rentals. Equipment must stay at the Nordic Center and is available on a 1st come, 1st serve basis.

Snowshoe Rental
