This annual, week-long event teaches visually- and mobility-impaired adults the sport of classic cross country skiing and allows those who have already mastered the basics the chance to improve their skills and endurance.

A fundraiser to support youth XC skiing in Grand County, the Ranch 2 Ranch XC Ski Trek is a journey from Snow Mountain Ranch to Granby Ranch via "Snow Mountain Ranch Trails" to the "Fraser to Granby Trail" to the "Granby Ranch Trails." The trek is 12 km each way or 24 km round-trip.

The CB Nordic & Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Races are a fun way to get outside, get some exercise, meet new people, and challenge yourself. Each week is a different format with distances ranging from 5K to 15K in both skate and classic. Every week a kids’ race is offered as well, with 1K and 3K options. Every race you do you acquire points, and at the end of the series we’ll award the winner of the most points.

Back for 2023, join us for the 52nd Annual Frisco Gold Rush. Gold Rush is the longest-running Nordic event in Colorado and consists of classic and skate races open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Gold Rush is where the past and present come together to celebrate our historical mining heritage and embrace our snowy Nordic culture.

All ability levels ages 16 and up are welcome, please pre-register with your name and ability level at 970-754-4390 and save $20 off your cost. Meet at Golden Peak Nordic Desk at 8:30 AM (earlier if you need rentals). 

One of Colorado's longest-running Nordic ski events along the beautiful Owl Creek corridor from Snowmass to Aspen. This year's event features a new take with multiple intermediate sprint primes factored into the race timing.
